AI Summary

The Fleet Readiness Center (NAVAIR, Dept of the Navy) intends to award a sole-source contract for preventive maintenance on an X5000 Computed Tomography X-Ray System at Patuxent River, MD (zip 20670). Responses are due October 23, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET. Because this is an intent to sole source with no set-aside, only the OEM or an authorized service provider for the X5000 system is realistically eligible; this is effectively a notice of intent to award, not a competitive opportunity for general contractors.

Key Requirements

•The contractor must be the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or an authorized OEM-certified service provider for the X5000 Computed Tomography X-Ray System, as the government has determined no other source can provide the required preventive maintenance. Any interested party must submit clear and convincing evidence of their capability to perform by the October 23, 2026 deadline.
