AI Summary

The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Orlando (ACC-APG) issued a presolicitation for Synthetic Training Environment (STE) Virtual Software (VSW) development, supporting Army training simulation software under NAICS 541715. This appears to be an early notice ahead of a formal solicitation, with responses due by October 13, 2026, and no small-business set-aside. Established simulation/modeling software firms with DoD experience and the ability to handle classified or ITAR-controlled training systems are the likely audience.

Key Requirements

•No set-aside is designated, so full-and-open competition applies; contractors should expect DoD security/clearance and simulation software development qualifications typical of STE programs, but specific FAR clauses or certification mandates are not stated in the available notice data.
